Horst-Klaus Heleine

Horst-Klaus Heleine

For many years Horst Klaus Heleine and his family have been running a well-known training, competition and livery yard in Ober-Ramstadt/Rohrbach, which is situated approx. 10 km from Darmstadt, on the edge of the Odenwald. The ‘Waldenserhof’ benefits from its proximity to Frankfurt airport and is within easy reach from the motorway junction Darmstadt (approx. 10 km). The family-run business ‘Waldenserhof’ was built in November 1985. It stands in 175ha and is self-sufficient in hay, straw and oats.

The complex consists of 41 spacious loose boxes, a solarium, a whirl pool, a horse walker, an extremely large sand school and an indoor arena which is fully insulated and measures 22 x 60m.

The ‘Waldenserhof’ offers a full range of services, such as breaking and selling horses, training of riders and even competing horses up to international level. Horses are taken for schooling or on livery.

Horst-Klaus Heleine was born on 9th November 1959. He has been riding since the age of nine, and won his first junior competition in 1969, aged ten. In 1978 he was the Junior Hessian Champion. In 1980 he won his first advanced competition at level ‘S’. He was very successful at this level and internationally, with horses that he had schooled himself. In 1990 he was award the ‘goldene Reiterabzeichen’.

He is not only successful in show jumping, however. In younger years, Horst-Klaus Heleine competed with success in dressage and eventing.
